GEOMETRICAL APPROACH TO DATA COMPRESSION OF TELEMETRY SYSTEMS

In this paper, we propose a telemetry data compression algorithm. The algorithm is based on a raw data mapping, represented in binary form, on the surface of a torus with subsequent search of uniform areas. It was shown that the algorithm provides good compression ratio of telemetry data of different types.
