INFLUENCE OF STATIONARY HARVESTING ON DEVELOPMENT OF A TWO-AGE POPULATION SCENARIO
It is shown that stationary harvesting from a two-age population with an "optimal" seizure proportion that provides a maximum sustainable yield can lead to fluctuations in number. Stabilization of the system dynamics takes place with harvesting strategy based on a regular seizure of number surplus over the value ensuring the maximum population growth.
