CURVE FITTING PROBLEM FOR DATA WITH INTERVAL UNCERTAINTY
The problem of constructing a functional dependence based on inaccurate data with interval uncertainty is considered. An approach to solving this problem is proposed, which involves the unconditional maximization of the so-called recognizing functional, which expresses a quantitative measure of the compatibility of parameters of the interval data and the function under construction.
