Mathematical modeling and investigation of productional and social processes based on fractal and wavelet-analysis

The article presents the research methodology, based on a mathematical model for predicting the risk of occupational accidents using wavelet and fractal analysis of temporal sequences of industrial accidents. Wavelet analysis is applied to complex, non-stationary data and identifies a number of properties of the signal, invisible in the conventional statistical methods of analysis. As the value of fractal dimension, reflecting the number of accidents in the studied interval, indicate the degree of chaos of the process.
