An approach to characterizing the type of combined toxity based on the results of epidemiological study
Some methodological approaches to assessing the type of combined nephrotoxicity produced by lead and cadmium were tested: method of simple linear regression, rank correlations, analysis of dispersion, method of isobole designing. It was found out that environmentally caused damage to kidneys in children from lead and cadmium is less than additive (manifestation of toxicological antagonism).
