MODEL FOR COMPACTIBLE GRANULAR BODIES AND SOME OF ITS APPLICATIONS

We construct an axiomatic model of granular material, admitting its compaction and selforganization. The balance problem of the medium in gravitational field and the polarsymmetric problem are considered. The theory’s predictions are in good agreement with experimental data.
