QUERY EXECUTION MODEL IN PARALLEL COLUMN- ORIENTED DATABASE SYSTEM
This article analyses the process of query execution in parallel column-oriented database system. Laplas-Stiltes transform (LST) is produced for execution time of such query. Different types of this transform and corresponding averages of distribution for different architecture types of parallel database systems are reviewed. The comparison between time for query execution in parallel column-oriented and row-oriented database system is given as practical example.
