MODIFIED LOCALIZATION ALGORITHM OF VEHICLE REGISTRATION PLATE ON THE BASE OF VIOLA-JONES METHOD
A modified algorithm for localization of the vehicle registration plates with two-pass classification feature is proposed. The software for the vehicle registration plates localization in the video stream is developed. The experiment has proved that the application of this approach gives more than 98 % of the correct localization of vehicle registration plate. This allows to use the proposed algorithm in real control systems of the traffic flows.
