SURVIVAL RATES ESTIMATES OF NORTHERN FUR SEAL MALES WITH ACCOUNT FOR ANNUAL CHANGE OF THE ENVIRONMENT
We propose a method for estimating the survival rates for the main age groups of the northern fur seal males based on observational data and due account for the influence of annual environmental changes. The calculation results show that environmental changes to a large extent affect the survival of the juvenile group.
